Robson leaves by mutual consent

Batsman Angus Robson has left Leicestershire County Cricket Club by mutual consent.
The 25-year-old scored 2,995 first-class runs at an average of 31.52 in 53 appearances for the club.
Robson recorded a career-best 120 against Essex at Chelmsford in 2015, one of two first-class centuries scored for Leicestershire, and also made 126 against India in the tourist match of 2014.
Robson also made 15 List A appearances for Leicestershire, posting 333 runs with a best of 90 at an average of 22.20.
The opening batsman’s contract was due to expire at the end of the 2017 season but Robson requested to be released from his contract early in order to pursue other opportunities in the game.
Leicestershire CCC respects his wishes and Robson has now been deregistered to allow him to find another club.
Robson said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Leicestershire County Cricket Club but have decided to take on a new challenge at this stage of my career. I wish the club all the very best for the rest of the season and beyond.”
Leicestershire CCC Chief Executive Wasim Khan MBE said: “We are disappointed to lose Angus at this stage of the season but we have a big squad and fully understand that he wants to have an opportunity to start a new cricketing chapter in his life.
“We thank Angus for his contribution to Leicestershire County Cricket Club over the last four years and wish him well for the rest of his career."
