Leicestershire County Cricket Club and CWA draw up plans to extend the partnership into the third year.
CWA came on board for the 2020 campaign as Official Communications Partner and have since been an integral part of the Club’s Membership campaigns and delivery, as well as external communications.
Previous campaigns developed by CWA, alongside Leicestershire CCC include the 2020 ’99 Get In’, the 2021 ‘A New Breed’ campaign and currently the 2022 ‘County Together’ campaign which aims to bring the county of Leicestershire together through one shared interest, cricket.
After agreeing on a third year of partnership, Nicola Adams, Managing Director of CWA, said: “CWA is delighted to once again become an official partner of Leicestershire County Cricket Club. In the last year alone, we have assisted the club with a wide range of marketing services including brand design, social media and public relations.
“The work we have produced in partnership with the club has been well received by fans and the wider community. The partnership is beneficial to local companies as it provides numerous networking opportunities and CWA has thoroughly enjoyed meeting with other club partners.
“We look forward to building more relationships with the Leicestershire business community and supporting the club in all of its activities.â€
Marketing and Communications Executive at Leicestershire
CCC, Scott Rowland has worked alongside CWA for the entirety of the
partnership.
He commented: “CWA are a fantastic company to work with.
“From the initial ’99 Get In’ campaign back in 2019/20, to the ‘County Together’ campaign for the 2022 season, CWA have really embraced the challenges that come with sports marketing.
“The ability to bounce ideas off one another and produce a campaign that hits all the required areas is really beneficial for both parties “ it’s great to be working alongside them again.â€
