Running Foxes Laser Focused on Further Success

Following a season of progression in 2021, Leicestershire County Cricket Club have today, Friday, January 28, 2022, published their latest targets and aspirations to further develop the Club during 2022
Featuring 25 Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) , the Running Foxes are aiming to pave the way for a further successful year by targeting all parts of the business to continue to develop and expand.
This includes further progression in the cricket team performances as well as developing Academy players, expanding the reach in the Leicestershire community, improving governance and internal structures at the Club and expanding its growing commercial offering.
Each part of the business has detailed targets, however the overriding 25 KPI's are as follows:
Cricket
• Show progress in the LV=Insurance County Championship
• Compete for a knockout place in the Vitality Blast & Royal London Cup
• Go the extra mile to ensure cricket communities across the county feel more closely connected to the Running Foxes
• Set new levels for Gold Fox Standards including on and off field behaviours
• Continue to refine and expand our data driven processes in player availability, player recruitment, strength and conditioning programmes and fielding practices
Commercial
• Have strong retention of existing clients combined with a creative approach to attract new business
• To grow our audiences across all three formats of the game
• Regain confidence in Conference & Banqueting following the COVID-19 pandemic
• Build and deliver a programme of events that establishes the Uptonsteel County Ground as Leicester's recognised premium outdoor venue
• Increase customer database and social media followers to record new levels
Company
• Achieve all tier 1 standards of the County Partnership Agreement and move towards the implementation of all tier 2 standards. To take steps towards the ground standards that need to be met by March 2023.
• Achieve the silver standard of the County Governance Framework
• Ensure that Leicestershire County Cricket Club is an inspiring, fair and inclusive place to work which gives every team member the opportunity to thrive personally and professionally
• Deliver a community centred, customer focused and environmentally friendly first-class venue for a first-class county
• Ensure compliance across the business, have strong internal processes and a high level of communication within the organisation
Community
• Transformation of the women & girls game
• To engage further with children & young people
• Growing Foxes Family through recreational cricket
• Continue growth of LCCC Foundation
• Engage local diverse communities
Cash
• Compliance with HMRC legislation
• Internal control assurance given by external auditors
• Ensure that Expenditure Complies with all CPA Relevant Requirements such as Player Pathway Costs and Player Salary Collar
• Provide Benchmarking and Management Accounts Each Month to the 4 Pillars of the Club
• Financial Reporting to be simplified into an easily understandable monthly report covering all areas of LCCC
