Running Foxes to enhance live streaming service for 2022

Following another record setting year for Leicestershire County Cricket Club’s live streaming service, the Running Foxes can announce further enhancements are to be made to the production of all live streamed fixtures during the 2022 campaign.

Foxes TV received just under 1.5million views across all formats during the 2021 campaign, and endeavour to eclipse this figure in 2022.

The highest amount of views received on one video was the 169,000 views of the home T20 Vitality Blast fixture against Northamptonshire Steelbacks.

The improvements made ahead of the 2021 campaign, including multiple cameras to increase the amount and the quality of footage, BBC synced commentary and replays will be further enhanced through the addition of a pitch side camera situated at the entrance to the field of play infront of the pavilion.

Head of Marketing and Consumer Sales at Leicestershire CCC, Jack Bradley commented: “Last season was a breakthrough season for the Running Foxes in terms of our live stream output.

“The improvements made really set us apart from the remaining field and we are striving to separate ourselves from the rest of the circuit in 2022.

“The roaming camera will be a welcome addition to the content as we try and bridge the gap between the viewer and the players as much as we can.”

As a result of the improvements being made to the live streaming set up at the Uptonsteel County Ground, there are subsequently three live streaming job vacancies available to become a part of the forward-thinking, innovative live stream production team.
