Running Foxes Winter 2020

Grace Road has seen the return of the majority of the First Team squad for testing ahead of their Winter Training Programme.
The players include those who have recently committed their futures to the Running Foxes such as, Will Davis, Alex Evans, Nat Bowley, Lewis Hill, Gavin Griffiths, Sam Evans and Chris Wright.
The first session back, also saw the arrival of new signings Ed Barnes, Rishi Patel and Scott Steel who joined their teammates for the first time since signing for the Running Foxes.
Those that haven’t returned yet have begun their Winter preparations elsewhere before linking up with the Running Foxes squad in the near future.
Nick Welch has travelled back to Zimbabwe to play for Harare Kings in the National Premier League (NPL). Welch continued his form from the Vitality Blast after making half-centuries and centuries in the three innings he played.
Following his performances in the NPL, Welch will look to play some first-class cricket as an overseas player in the New Year.
Opening batsman, Hassan Azad, is also homeward bound as he is completing some warm weather personal training in Karachi, Pakistan. During his time over there, he is also taking part in internal training and playing friendlies for the Young Fighter Cricket Academy.
Ben Mike and Harry Swindells have travelled to Barbados to also take part in some warm weather training at the Franklyn Stephenson Academy until December 12. They will both join the rest of the squad back at Grace Road when they return.
The remaining players such as Callum Parkinson, Harry Dearden, George Rhodes, Arron Lilley and Dieter Klein have also returned to Leicestershire.
