Russell in-Spiers Over 50s to reach Final!

The club would like to congratulate Leicestershire and Rutland Over 50s, who have reached the final of the ECB National County Championship.
County won their semi-final against Staffordshire at by 50 runs with Kibworth all-rounder Russell Spiers the key man with both bat and ball.
Spiers (44), Sanjay Pabari (33) and Tony Pridmore (30) all chipped in as Leicestershire scored a competitive 185-9 before the slow left armer took a brilliant 5-29 as Staffs were dismissed for 135.
The team’s reward is a home game against Essex at Kibworth CC, one that will get underway at 11am this Sunday (September 11). Your support would be very much appreciated.
