Second XI Fixtures released

Leicestershire County Cricket Club is pleased to announce that the Second XI Fixtures have been released ahead of the 2016 season.
The format for all three competitions is the same as 2015 with eight Championship games, six Trophy fixtures and 12 T20 matches, with two games played on each of the six T20 dates in the diary.
All start times and the majority of venues have been confirmed, and we will be releasing more details about grounds as soon as they emerge.
As the Fischer County Ground, Grace Road, has an extremely busy schedule in 2016 including all First XI games, several international fixtures and the Elton John concert, subject to licence, the Second XI will not play any matches here this summer.
2016 has therefore given Leicestershire County Cricket Club the opportunity to take Second XI cricket to club venues and that will provide viewing opportunities for Members and supporters who live locally to those grounds.
Fixtures have been confirmed at Kibworth CC, Loughborough Town CC and Desborough Town CC, and details of venues for home games against Derbyshire (two-day friendly), Nottinghamshire (Championship) and Warwickshire (SET20) will follow in due course.
