Leicestershire County Cricket Club are pleased to announce the renewal of two key player sponsors, Spice Bazzar and Mr Claude Smith.
Spice Bazzar have signed up for a second season as a player sponsor, supporting NatWest T20 Blast overseas star Luke Ronchi and Club Captain Mark Cosgrove.
Both players are renowned for stylish and powerful hitting, particularly in NatWest T20 Blast, where the award-winning Welford Road restaurant will again be selling their cuisine to the Fischer County Ground.
Spice Bazzar’s fantastic dishes will be available in the Geary Bar, just as they were for 2016, with a wide variety of dishes available at excellent prices.
Leicestershire CCC Catering Manager John Stew said: “We are happy to be working with Spice Bazzar as we continue to diversify the range of foods available at our NatWest T20 Blast matches.
“The partnership worked exceptionally well in 2016 and the club recently enjoyed a pre-season meal with Abdul Giash and his team in the Welford Road restaurant.”
Mr Claude Smith has been a long-standing sponsor of Leicestershire CCC, including being a member of our Captain’s Club.
Mr Smith has also been a player sponsor previously and is supporting Zak Chappell in the 2017 season. Chappell has looked in impressive form during pre-season and has huge potential both as a fast bowler and batsman.
Leicestershire CCC Commercial Director Jim Overend said: “It is great to welcome back Abdul and Spice Bazzar, and Mr Claude Smith, as player sponsors for the 2017 season. Their support is greatly appreciated and we look forward to welcoming them during an exciting summer of action at the Fischer County Ground.”
* The club has a small number of players still available to sponsor for the 2017 campaign. For all player sponsorship opportunities please call Corporate Sales Manager Tracey Branson on 0116 245 2464 or email traceybranson@leicestershireccc.co.uk.
