Spice Bazzar Terrace Comes to Leicestershire

Leicestershire CCC and Spice Bazzar link up ahead of the 2022 campaign to bring the Terrace back to the Uptonsteel County Ground.

Formerly known as the Thomas Cook Terrace, the Spice Bazzar Terrace provides a unique, low-level hospitality package which is perfect for watching and entertaining alike. It features an option to sit at pitch-side picnic tables or to take a seat in the Terrace stand, bringing you closer to the big-hitting action of the frenetic T20 Vitality Blast.

The Indian restaurant, based on Welford Road has been a part of the T20 Vitality Blast matchday at Grace Road for a number of years, and have developed their relationship with the Running Foxes for 2022 in becoming the Club’s newest official partner.

The package will be available for all home 2022 T20 Vitality Blast fixtures, as well as for the sensational visit of Virat Kohli and India for the four-day Tour fixture.

Abdul Giash, Managing Director at Spice Bazzar comments on growing the partnership with the Running Foxes. He said: “It is great to be progressing our relationship with Leicestershire County Cricket Club.

“We have been working with them for some time now, and to have our name associated with their annual T20 campaigns is great exposure for us “ and we are really looking forward to 2022, as well as the exciting visit of India.”

Tracey Branson, Leicestershire CCC Commercial Manager commented: “It is great to be able to bring the Terrace back to Leicestershire, and it felt natural to offer it to Abdul [Giash] as a past partner of the Club.

“With a highly anticipated T20 campaign, and the visit of India to Leicestershire in 2022, Spice Bazzar’s food offering will be a welcome addition to the vendors around the ground.

“We are looking forward to making a success out of the Spice Bazzar Terrace and implementing it as part of our hospitality packages for this season.”
