Supporting Alex’s Wish with a themed T20 match

Leicestershire County Cricket Club have teamed up with the club’s official charity partner, Alex’s Wish, to dedicate a Vitality Blast T20 fixture to the charity to support their fundraising efforts.
The local Leicestershire-based charity will see the Vitality Blast T20 fixture v Worcestershire Rapids on Sunday, 18 July dedicated to them.
Furthermore, for every ticket purchased by supporters of Alex’s Wish, the club will make a donation back to the charity to support with raising funds for their work to eradicate Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
Speaking about the opportunity, Emma Hallam, founder and Mum to Alex after whom the charity is named said, “I’m so incredibly grateful to Leicestershire County Cricket Club for offering us this wonderful opportunity.
"Not only are they very kindly donating to Alex’s Wish for every ticket purchased using our very own special code, but additional fundraising and awareness-raising opportunities will be available to us.
"In addition, Alex, together with the Alex’s Wish team will be the Clubs’ special guests for the Worcestershire Rapids game. To say we’re excited is an understatement!â€
Leicestershire County Cricket Club have supported Alex’s Wish in the past by dedicating the 2019 Fireworks evening to the charity. More recently, they are the official charity partner of the club, with funds raised through the Leicestershire CCC Foundation benefitting Alex’s Wish.
