Matchday Information
Sussex are the visitors to Uptonsteel County Ground for our fifth LV = Insurance County Championship fixture of the season (12-15 May). Play is due to begin at 11am (weather permitting), with the toss at 10:30am. Gates will open from 10am.

Timings:
Gates open: 10am.
Start of play: 11am.
Lunch: 1pm (40-minute interval).
Tea: 3:40pm (or when 32 overs are remaining), (20-minute interval).
Close: 6:30pm approx.
Tickets
Tickets for all four days versus Sussex are available to purchase online HERE. Tickets can also be purchased for the day’s play on the Curzon Road gate.

Adult £15,
Senior (60+) £10
Young adult (16-22) £10
Junior (under 16) £5
On The Gate Prices:
Adult £18

Entry is free after tea.
Members can use their Membership card to gain entry via Curzon Road or Park Hill Drive.
To purchase or enquire about future match tickets or hospitality, please head to the ticketing desk in the Bennett Bar.
Entrances:
Entry to the ground is available via Curzon Road and Park Hill Drive. Existing ticket holders and Members can use either entrance, however Curzon Road is the only entrance available for spectators wishing to purchase tickets on the gate.
Seating:
Seating is unallocated. Spectators can sit within any of the available stands, these are; Uptonsteel (yellow seats situated next to the electronic scoreboard), Gallagher (green seats at the Bennett End), Melton Building Society Family (yellow seats situated next to the Morningside Marquee) and the Spice Bazzar Terrace (red seats).
Parking:
Car parking is available to book in advance online HERE, priced at £6.50. Spaces will see limited availability on the day, so spectators are advised to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
Outfield activities:
Spectators are welcomed onto the outfield during the lunch interval. Leicestershire CCC coaching staff will be present to lead engaging cricket activities for children.
Food and Drink:
Charles Palmer Restaurant - For a luxury three-course meal, spectators can pre-book a table for either 12:30pm or 1:15pm.
Fox Bar - Open from 10am until close of play. The bar will also be selling sandwiches, crisps and confectionaries.
Bennett Bar - Serving from 11am.
The Meet - Open from 10am until 5pm “ hot food and drink will be served all day.
Friends of Grace Road “ Serving cake and hot drinks in The Meet during the afternoon.
Ice Cream Shop - Serving tea, coffee, soft drinks and ice creams from 10am until 6pm.
Retail:
LCCC’s new and exclusive range of clubwear will be available from day one of the fixture inside the Bennett Bar, with a freshly designed range of hoodies, sweatshirts, t-shirts, polo shirts and replica kits all available for purchase.
Alternatively, you can purchase clothing, merchandise and memorabilia from the Club’s online retail store HERE.
Cashless:
Supporters are politely reminded that Uptonsteel County Ground is now a cashless stadium. This decision has been made to accelerate customer transactions during the 2022 campaign due to increased matchday footfall. Our streamlined payment systems endeavour to make consumer purchases as efficient as possible.
