The weather had a massive effect on the Everards Premier League for the second Saturday in succession.
Only one game took place with Leicester Ivanhoe beating Syston Town in a game reduced to 20 overs per side.
Syston were restricted to 141-5 as Imran Khan took 3-29 and Leicestershire Academy player Harry Swindells guided Ivanhoe home alongside Aneesh Kapil.
Swindells (61 not out) and Kapil (55 not out) shared an unbroken stand worth 116 as Ivanhoe got home with seven deliveries to spare.
It was an important victory for Ivanhoe, who moved further clear of the relegation zone with their 25-point haul.
There were only five overs of play possible in the other five fixtures, Kibworth moving to 7-0 against Barkby United.
Games at Loughborough Town, Sileby Town, Hinckley Town/CCA and Earl Shilton Town were all abandoned without a ball being bowled.
Kibworth are still on course for a treble after a comfortable victory against Barrow Town in the Talent Cricket County Cup Final at the Fischer County Ground on Sunday.
Barrow had an encouraging start, reaching 42-1 after 10 overs, before being bowled out for 116. Captain Ramesh Kara top-scored with 27 not out batting at number five but he ran out of partners. Off-spinner Bhavik Patel (3-7) was one of several bowlers that made their mark for Kibworth.
The Premier League winners lost three wickets for 12 runs in slipping to 42-3 but skipper Matt Craven anchored the innings with 49 not out and Charlie Page-Morris (38 not out) counter-attacked to ensure a seven-wicket win.
Prior to that game, Hinckley Rhinos beat Soar Valley Strollers in a thrilling final of the NatWest Club U19s competition.
Hinckley were going great guns on 82-1 with Ben Coddington (45) and Jag Lalli (37) but were pegged back to 98-8 with Monik Patel claiming 3-8.
Soar Valley were on course at 50-1 in the 11th over as Mahang Patel scored 35 but they closed short on 89-7 as Hinckley claimed a 9-run win.
* Leicestershire CCC Chief Executive Wasim Khan MBE was also in action at the weekend as he played for Warwickshire Legends at Worcestershire as part of the benefit year for Daryl Mitchell and Tim Ambrose.
The left-handed opener rolled back the years in scoring 69 not out off just 48 balls, including eight fours and two maximums, as the Bears chased down their 30-over target of 167 with eight overs to spare.
