Kevin O’Brien smashed 47 off just 27 balls during an impressive debut for the Foxes at Lancashire Lightning last Friday and knows the Grace Road faithful can help the team make home form count.
O’Brien enjoyed making his first appearance for the Foxes despite the agonising nature of the defeat and is now looking forward to two consecutive home games against Derbyshire Falcons (Friday, May 22) and Durham Jets (Thursday, May 28).
We want to fill Grace Road for both matches to ensure a fantastic atmosphere for the team, so we have two very special offers running.
Those who buy in advance of the Falcons fixture can take advantage of much cheaper prices of £10 adults, £1 under 16s, £5 students and £20 for a family of two adults and three under 16s.
People who purchase tickets at those prices are then welcome to return to Grace Road the following Thursday to see the Foxes take on the Jets for the SAME PRICE when buying in advance.
By filling in a voucher that will be handed out on the gates at Grace Road, or by downloading it below and returning it to the club, ticket purchasers for the Falcons game can come again for just £10 for adults, £1 under 16s, £5 students and £20 for a family ticket.
All-rounder O’Brien is delighted to hear that tickets for his first game at Grace Road have reached record levels approaching 4,000. The crowd will include members of his family, who are coming over from Ireland to watch him and brother Niall in action.
O’Brien said: “NatWest T20 Blast is a good tournament and every game is difficult. Derbyshire is a big game for us and I know we’ve sold a lot of tickets in advance, which is great to hear.
“It’s a good start for us to have a local derby for our first home game. It’s important we play well as a team and as individuals and try to hit these two home games against Derbyshire and Durham hard.
“To play any cricket with your brother is a special time and our family will be over for the games, including on Friday night. These are exciting times for us as a family, and as a team.”
* Please note that family tickets and student tickets for the Derbyshire game MUST be brought over the phone before 5pm on Thursday to qualify for the cheaper price as these ARE NOT available online.
Any remaining tickets will be placed on the gate priced £20 adults and £3 for under 16s. There will be no further concessions or family tickets available on the day of the game.
Those coming on Friday who want to buy for the Durham game should look out for a voucher when coming into Grace Road, or it can be downloaded HERE. Please note you must have come to the Derbyshire game to qualify for the Durham offer.
