After laying the foundations in the first year of partnership, Leicestershire County Cricket Club and The Commercial Flooring Company extend into a second year.
The company came on board as the brand-new sponsor for the Members’ Stand for 2021, with the Running Foxes’ squad using it as their makeshift pavilion in a second consecutive season hit by the pandemic.
After agreeing a second term, both Leicestershire CCC and The Commercial Flooring Company hope to see The Commercial Flooring Company’s Members Stand full of Leicestershire Members throughout the course of the 2022 season.
Nathan Ware, Managing Director of The Commercial Flooring Company commented: “We were so pleased to become an official sponsor and the Members Stand sponsor at Leicestershire County Cricket Club last season, and it is great to be able to continue that partnership into 2022.
“Despite last season being hit by the pandemic, we enjoyed working with the Club as much as we could and look forward to seeing our stand full of Members and fans next season.â€
The Commercial Flooring Company lead the way in supplying and installing commercial floor coverings of all materials and have branches based in London and Lincoln, as well as their headquarters which are based in Leicester.
The company also sponsored Scott Steel in his debut season for Leicestershire CCC in 2021, in a campaign where he opened the batting in the T20 Vitality Blast campaign.
With negotiations ongoing as to how the Club and company can strengthen their relationship, Commercial Manager at LCCC, Tracey Branson commented: “It is great to be working with Nathan [Ware] and the team once again for the 2022 season.
“Their package took a slight hit last year due to the pandemic, but we are drawing up ways as to how we can work together this season and we look forward to doing so.
“It will be great to finally see Members sat in the newly branded The Commercial Flooring Company’s Members Stand, as well as welcoming the team back down to the Uptonsteel County Ground.â€
