Top Gun added to Outdoor Cinema Line-up

Leicestershire County Cricket Club are excited to be screening the American action-drama film, Top Gun at the Uptonsteel County Ground on Sunday, August 22 as part of an incredible weekend Outdoor Cinema line-up.

Starring Tom Cruise and Kelly McGillis, Top Gun was released in 1986 and tells the story of students at the US Navy’s elite fighter weapons school competing to be the best in class.

Watch the film on the big screen at the Uptonsteel County Ground with your friends and family. You can bring a picnic or there’ll be popcorn, hot dogs, sweet stall and much more on sale so you can enjoy the movie in style! There will also be children’s activities including a bouncy castle and face painting.

Gates will open at 12:30pm with the film starting at 2pm. Family tickets are available for £28 (2 adults and 3 children), while individual tickets are priced at £9.50 for adults and £4.50 for children. Please note that prices will increase if there are any tickets available on the day.

Top Gun is the latest event to be added to an incredible Outdoor Cinema weekend at the Uptonsteel County Ground. A Bollywood hit film, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela is screening on Friday August 20, at 7pm, followed by Toy Story and Mamma Mia both screening on Saturday August 21, at 2pm and 7pm, respectively.
