Tour de Foxes Route Revealed

With less than two days to sign up to the Tour de Foxes, the charity cycle challenge to raise money for the club’s Foundation and local Leicester charities, the club can reveal the route.
The challenge begins at the Uptonsteel County Ground on the morning of the Sunday, July 18, with riders heading South-East before navigating along country roads northwards towards Melton Mowbray.
The route takes the riders through the Soar Valley area, before heading North-West and returning to the Uptonsteel County Ground via the western areas of Charnwood before traveling through parts of Hinckley and Bosworth & Blaby Districts.
The route covers 80 miles with admission included to the T20 Vitality Blast match v Worcestershire Rapids on the evening of the challenge.
The registration fee also includes the club’s Official Cycle Jersey which was revealed a few weeks ago. All riders will wear the jersey to show unison whilst completing the challenge.
The challenge is sure to be hugely rewarding as all money raised will be donated to the Club’s Foundation with local charities, Alex’s Wish and Healing Little Hearts benefitting.
