Toy Story & Mamma Mia! Outdoor Cinema Update

Leicestershire County Cricket Club can announce that it's with a heavy heart we have decided to cancel today's outdoor cinema events of Toy Story and Mamma Mia! Due to the poor weather.

This decision has not been taken lightly however with the uncertain forecast throughout the day including weather warnings of heavy rain and thunderstorms expected this afternoon, we wanted to make a decision for the event that gives ticket purchasers as much notice as possible to help with personal arrangements planned for the day.

The safety of all spectators is our number one priority and we want to ensure that everybody has the best possible experience at the Uptonsteel County Ground, and sadly today that wouldn’t be possible.

All ticket purchases will be contacted directly regarding the options available with regards to their booking. If you have purchased tickets and do not receive an email from the club by Monday 23rd August, please email enquiries@leicestershireccc.co.uk and a member of the team will be able to help you. 

We thank everybody in advance for their patience and understanding, and hope to welcome you to the ground for an event in the very near future.

The screening of Top Gun at 2pm tomorrow is still planned to go ahead with a much-improved weather forecast. Tickets are still available and can be purchased HERE we look forward to welcoming everybody to enjoy the unique open-air cinema experience at the Uptonsteel County Ground.
