UCG To Host Two Lightning Cricket Fixtures!

Leicestershire County Cricket Club are thrilled to announce that the Uptonsteel County Ground will once again play host to two Lightning Cricket fixtures this summer.
Lightning will take on Thunder Cricket in the Charlotte Edwards T20 Cup on Saturday 21 May, 2.30pm start, followed by a return to the UCG later in the season as they face Southeast Stars on Saturday 17 September, 10.30am start, in the Rachel Heyhoe Flint 50-Over Trophy.
Sean Jarvis, Chief Executive of Leicestershire CCC said "We are proud to be a host venue for Lightning Cricket again this season. These two exciting fixtures add to an already action packed summer of cricket at the Uptonsteel County Ground, with the visit of the England Women in July. We can't wait to celebrate the growing success of the Women's game and really encourage the community to come along and join us for these special events".

You can also catch the England Women in action at the Uptonsteel County Ground this summer as they take on South Africa in a Day/Night One Day International on Monday 18 July. It's been a record breaking start to England Women ticket sales so be sure to secure your ticket in advance!
