Uptonsteel County Ground set for new Reception & Club Shop

Fans and visitors to the Uptonsteel County Ground will experience a much improved customer journey from the start of the 2022 season with a brand new reception and club shop set to be installed at the main Curzon Road entrance of the ground.

This major development for the club will provide a smooth and efficient point of entry for the public as well as a new fan store for the club’s growing retail operation which will be open on both matchdays and non-matchdays.

The new building will also act as the main ticket office for spectators on matchdays and major event days significantly enhancing the club’s ticketing operation.

Leicestershire County Cricket Club CEO, Sean Jarvis said: â€œIt was really important for us to improve our customer journey from the main entry point of the ground as we do not currently have a serviceable facility for the public, the new club reception and fan store will do just that.

“We are excited to welcome visitors to the home of the Running Foxes with a fresh new building visitors can experience from the start of the cricket season”.

The facility will also include new office space for the commercial and community departments creating much improved working environments for staff.

The project is fully underway with the reception and club shop set to be open during March 2022.
