Uptonsteel County Ground to host Second XI fixture

The Second XI 50 over fixture between Leicestershire Foxes and Durham Cricket will be played at the Uptonsteel County Ground on Monday 9 August, starting at 11am.

The Club can confirm that free entry will be provided for everyone to enter the Uptonsteel County Ground to watch the match.

This provides a great opportunity for fans to watch some of the Leicestershire Academy players in competitive action, in what will be the first Second XI fixture to be hosted with fans for the first time this season.

Fans can enter through the Curzon Road entrance and there will also be free on-site parking. Places will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Parking will be available via the Curzon Road gate.

Any Members of the Club will need to bring their Membership Card which will be scanned at the gate. Any Non-Members will need to complete a contact details form on the gate to gain free entry into the ground.

Once inside the ground, fans are free to sit where they wish in the available stands. The Bennett Bar will also be open serving tea, coffee, confectionary, and bar drinks from 11am.

More information will be published on the Club’s official website on the morning of the fixture.

We look forward to welcoming fans to the Uptonsteel County Ground to support the #AcademyOfCricket.
