Uptonsteel extend into Seventh Year of Partnership

Uptonsteel have extended their relationship with Leicestershire County Cricket Club, now their seventh year of partnership with the Running Foxes.

After several years of shirt and player sponsorships, the level of support grew last year as the steel sheet distributors confirmed the agreement of the ground naming rights of Grace Road. This meant that Leicestershire CCC played their home fixtures at the Uptonsteel County Ground in 2021 and this has now been extended to 2022.

Alongside the ground naming rights, Uptonsteel branding will once again feature across the front of all three playing kits; the LV= County Championship, Royal London Cup and T20 Vitality Blast for the upcoming 2022 season.

Tracey Branson, Commercial Manager at Leicestershire CCC said: “It is great to once again extend the relationship with Uptonsteel.

“The company have been a great sponsor of the Club for the best part of a decade, and to see their branding displayed around the ground and across the three kits once again is wonderful.

“The company and the Club are becoming synonymous with one another, and that is the relationship we are looking to extend across all of our Official Partners.

“We look forward to welcoming James [Upton] and his team to the Uptonsteel County Ground in 2022.”
