Leicestershire County Cricket Club have extended their current ground naming rights deal until 2024, with Uptonsteel remaining as the county ground’s principal sponsor for a further two years.
The Leicestershire-based firm, a long-standing partner of the Club, has extended their current deal with the Foxes “ which was due to end after the 2023 season “ meaning LCCC’s home will remain the ‘Uptonsteel County Ground’ until at least 2024.
As principal partner of Leicestershire CCC, Uptonsteel will also continue as the front-of-shirt sponsor for all three formats throughout the upcoming campaigns, as the businesses prepare to enter their eighth year of working alongside each other.
The relationship previously saw Uptonsteel sponsor players, shirts, and pre-season tours, before elevating their support to assume the naming rights at the Club’s Grace Road home ahead of the 2021 season.
Sean Jarvis, Chief Executive Officer at Leicestershire CCC said: “Uptonsteel has provided tremendous support to the Club for many years now. Growing this partnership together year-on-year reaffirms what an exciting time it is for the Club and the opportunities that our partners not only see but want to remain a part of both on and off the pitch.
“As a local firm that has consistently grown in size and ambition, Uptonsteel reflects such similar values and motivations to us “ a big part of why their commitment to the Club has been unwavering.
"We’re grateful that the partnership continues to flourish and bring so much to both sides “ and that Uptonsteel will remain such a big part of our identity as principal sponsor and the name of our home for another two years.â€
