Washouts for First & Second XI

Both Leicestershire sides have been unable to bowl a ball today due to the terrible weather.
The First XI saw the second day of the Specsavers County Championship game at Chelmsford washed out.
Umpires Peter Hartley and Russell Evans conducted an inspection around 11.30am and concluded that play simply would not be possible today.
The Second XI were due to play a double header of T20 against Warwickshire at Lutterworth but that was called off before the start.
Leicestershire will be hoping the weather improves tomorrow so that day three can start with Essex at 266-9. The Second XI return to action in a Championship fixture against Warwickshire at Desborough Town on Tuesday, June 28.
