Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket Chief Executive Wasim Khan MBE was the latest guest speaker at the KIT Club on Friday afternoon.
Wasim spoke about his playing career with Warwickshire, Sussex and Derbyshire, and his work with the Cricket Foundation, before taking questions from a sizeable audience about his new challenge at Grace Road.
Wasim said: “To come to Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket was an opportunity that was too good to miss. I feel that I am pushing at an open door because everybody wants the club to be successful. I don’t think it will take a lot to turn us around.”
The final KIT Club in the 2014/15 programme features Leicestershire CCC coaches and players as the guest speakers. It will be held on Friday, March 6 in the Charles Palmer Suite, with the Fox Bar open from midday and a three-course lunch served at 12.30pm.
