Former Lancashire and England all-rounder Mike Watkinson opens another varied and entertaining programme for the Leicestershire Cricket Society at the Fischer County Ground tomorrow evening (Thursday, 7.30pm).
Watkinson is one of the former players, coaches, authors and broadcasters from the world of cricket that will be speaking at the meetings, treating the audience to an insight into their distinguished careers.
Paul Allott, also formerly of the Red Rose county and England, will address the society along with ex Nottinghamshire and England batsman Derek Randall.
Alan Fordham is to speak about his career both as a player at Northants and as Head of Operations at ECB while BBC Radio Leicester's chief cricket commentator Richard Rae will provide a local perspective.
Authors Tim Jones and Richard Tomlinson provide history on Worcestershire and Gloucestershire, with Richard talking about WG Grace.
