Youngsters set for Finals Day at Grace Road

* A downloadable flyer of the event is available HERE

Ashby Strikers, Newbold Dragons, Loughborough Cobras and Houghton & Thurnby Hurricanes will compete in the NatWest U19 Club T20 Finals Day at Grace Road on Saturday, September 19.

Following on from last year’s successful day on this ground, the teams will be hoping to emulate Bexley Rangers, who won the pilot competition. On that occasion, they were presented with the trophy and medals by former Leicestershire and current England star Stuart Broad.

This is a great opportunity for youngsters to play at Grace Road and the four group winning teams will enjoy an identical format to a usual T20 Finals Day.

The first game sees Ashby Strikers play Newbold Dragons (9.15am start) before Loughborough Cobras take on Houghton & Thurnby Hurricanes at 12.15pm. The final will then start at 3.45pm.

Finals Day will give a great opportunity to see the upcoming talent that is emerging in the sport, in particular local talent.

Entry into the ground to watch the Finals Day is FREE, so come down to support the youngsters. There will be a bar, food and music as well as the cricket, so it will be a fun day for all of the family!
