Your chance to impress our scout!

Leicestershire CCC have an exciting opportunity for up and coming cricketers who would like to find a route into the professional game.

The club are holding a Talent Observation afternoon in the Mike Turner Cricket Centre between 3-5pm on Monday, April 10 which will give trialists the chance to impress Head Scout/Assistant Coach Carl Crowe.

CVs can be sent for Head Scout/Assistant Coach Carl Crowe to assess at carlcrowe@leicestershireccc.co.uk - but please note that as well as requiring excellent cricket skills, there are two additional criteria in place for attendees.

1. To be eligible for attendance on the day, you need to ensure you hit the criteria to play professional cricket if you do not have a British Passport:

Tier 1

Tier 2 General

Tier 4 General (University Students)

2. The club also have a helmet policy, and we require you to follow the club policy on the day. Your personal helmet will need to adhere to the BSI standards as stated below, and on the ECB website. Should your helmet not conform you will be required to wear one of our helmets on the day. You will need to state on the day if your helmet conforms:

“As of 1st February 2017 the latest BSI Standard specification for head protectors for cricketers is BS7928:2013 and the latest BSI Standard specification for facemasks is BS7928-2:2009.”
