2025 Second XI Fixtures Confirmed

Leicestershire’s Second XI will begin the 2025 season against Worcestershire at Uptonsteel County Ground on Tuesday, 15 April.
The first of four friendlies to kick off the year, including a meeting with SACA (8 May), Dips Patel’s side will then start their competitive T20 campaign away at Yorkshire (20 May).
With seven away SET20 fixtures, the Foxes’ home schedule will see visits to Kibworth twice “ taking on Derbyshire (27 May) and Yorkshire (1 July) “ as well as facing East Midlands rivals Nottinghamshire at Uptonsteel County Ground (12 June).
In a change to 2025’s calendar, Leicestershire will get their Second Eleven Championship campaign underway in June with back-to-back trips to Sussex (16 June) and Essex (23 June).
The Foxes also face Gloucestershire (21 July) and Worcestershire (28 July) in four-day action before concluding their campaign against Lancashire (2 September) at Loughborough Town.
Should they qualify, SET20 Finals Day is pencilled in for 16 July, while the SEC final will take place on 16 September.
