Abacus Flooring Solutions Extend Official Partner Status

Leicestershire CCC will once again join forces with Abacus Flooring Solutions Ltd in official partnership for the 2025 season.

Abacus’ collaboration with the Club last summer saw a cricket-first, with the Loughborough-based business installing resin flooring made from waste plastics in three areas at Uptonsteel County Ground.

The ground-breaking innovation was the first of its kind at a cricket venue in the UK, with the Abacus Flooring Solutions Stand, Grace Space, and Friends of Grace Road Café all benefiting from the stylish eco-flooring.

In a further display of Leicestershire’s commitment to sustainable solutions, Abacus Flooring Solutions will undertake work on a second seating area, renovating the flooring in the Dafabet Stand ahead of the 2025 campaign.

As part of the new deal, the award-winning company will sponsor Leicestershire and Australia star Peter Handscomb, as the 2024 Cricketer of the Year embarks on his third season as a Fox.
