Ahmed and Hull Selected For New Hundred Destinations

Leicestershire duo Rehan Ahmed and Josh Hull will both play a part in this summer’s edition of The Hundred after being picked up in Wednesday evening's draft.

After spending four seasons with Southern Brave, all-rounder Ahmed has made the switch to Trent Rockets, where he will link up with Head Coach Andy Flower and fellow England teammate Joe Root.

6ft 7” left-arm quick Hull will feature for Mike Hussey’s Welsh Fire side alongside the likes of Jonny Bairstow, Steve Smith, and Chris Woakes. He appeared in two matches for Manchester Originals last summer.

Both products of the academy system at Uptonsteel County Ground, Ahmed has 59 career T20 wickets, while Hull has claimed 24 wickets for the Foxes in the format since his debut in 2023.
