Ben Cox Selected For Trent Rockets

Ben Cox will miss Tuesday's Metro Bank One Day Cup clash against Glamorgan after being called up by Trent Rockets for the remainder of The Hundred.
The 33-year-old replaces the injured Adam Hose in the Rockets’ squad, joining Leicestershire teammate Rehan Ahmed at Trent Bridge.
Cox’s selection follows an outstanding One Day Cup campaign, with the wicketkeeper-batter registering 278 runs at an average of 55.6, featuring three half-centuries.
Recognised as one of the country’s leading glovemen, this will be Cox’s second involvement with Trent Rockets, having been involved with the title-winning squad in the 2021 iteration.
He will be line for his debut when the Rockets take on Louis Kimber’s Birmingham Phoenix on Wednesday evening at Trent Bridge.
