Book Now: February Half Term Coaching

Leicestershire CCC is pleased to announce our February half term coaching programme will be returning this year. After a highly successful in 2022, we have an exciting programme of events that offers a variety of sessions that would be the ideal preparation for the upcoming cricket season. Please see below for more information on what we have on offer this half term:

Monday 20^th February 2023 “ 1 to 1 Coaching Sessions:

We will be delivering 1 to 1 coaching sessions on Monday 20^th February 2023 with sessions available during the day from 9:00am until 4:00pm. Sessions can be booked in one-hour slots and the cost will be £35 per hour.

We have a limited number of spaces available, and these will be booked on first come first served basis, so please book early to avoid disappointment. To book, please email Stephen Franklin on stephen@leicestershireccc.co.uk with the preferred time that you would like to book.

Tuesday 21^st February 2023 “ Specialist Skill Sessions:

The Running Foxes February Specialist Skills sessions are 2-hour long slots for boys and girls focusing on specific areas of the game. The sessions we are running will include batting, bowling and a fielding and wicket-keeping session. 

The batting session will utilise the bowling machines and drills that our professional players use and look at both front and back foot play, as well as how to combat spin. The bowling session will be for both seam/pace and spin bowlers, and will include video analysis and drills/practices that you can continue to work on away from the sessions. The fielding and wicket-keeping session will look to explore the modern techniques that are now seen around the world.

To keep contact time to a maximum there are limited numbers on each session, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

All sessions are led by ECB Level 2, 3 and 4 coaches who coach across various programmes for Leicestershire CCC with appearances by Leicestershire CCC squad players dependent on their schedule.

Dates and times of the sessions are:

Tuesday 21^st February 2023 - Batting (9-13 year-olds) - 9:00 - 11:00am (maximum 16 spaces)

Tuesday 21^st February 2023 - Batting (14“17-year-olds) - 11:15 - 1:15pm (maximum 16 spaces)

Tuesday 21^st February 2023 - Bowling Seam and Spin (9-17 year-olds) - 1:30 - 3:30pm (maximum 24 spaces)

Tuesday 21^st February 2023 - Fielding and Wicketkeeping (9-17 year-olds) - 3:45 - 5:45pm (maximum spaces 24)

Prices for the camps are: £20 per session.

Thursday 23^rd and Friday 24^th February 2023 “ Running Foxes February Half Term Camps:

The Running Foxes February Half Term Camps are 1 or 2-day camps for boys and girls of all abilities, aged 7 - 14. The camps will cover all aspects of batting, bowling, fielding, and wicket-keeping. All sessions are led by ECB Level 2, 3 and 4 coaches who coach across various programmes for Leicestershire CCC with appearances by Leicestershire CCC squad players dependent on their schedule. 

Dates and times of the camp are:

Thursday 23^rd February and Friday 24^th February 2023. U10's (7-10 year-olds) will be 9:00am - 12:00pm and U14's (11-14 year olds) will be 1:00 - 4:00pm.

Prices for the camps are: £15 per day or £25 for 2 days.
