Visitors of the Uptonsteel County Ground will be enjoying the delights of Carlsberg Marston’s ales once again this year as the brewery enters an eleventh consecutive year of partnership with Leicestershire CCC, agreeing a further extension of the successful partnership through to 2025.
The agreement, which first began in 2012, sees the Carlsberg Marston’s Brewery Company stocking the bars across Grace Road exclusively with their famed portfolio of lagers, ales and craft beer brands for the 2023, 2024 and 2025 seasons of cricket and live events.
Formerly known as Marston’s Brewery PLC before forming their joint venture with Carlsberg UK, Carlsberg Marston’s have been pouring perfect pints for the hundreds of thousands of spectators that have come through Leicestershire CCC’s gates for over a decade, with their renowned high-quality beverages now an integral part of the matchday and event experiences offered at the county ground.
Sean Jarvis, Chief Executive Officer at Leicestershire CCC said: “The overall experience offered during a visit to Uptonsteel County Ground would be incomplete without Carlsberg Marston’s ales on the taps.
"Our partnership with CMBC has gone from strength to strength for such a long time and we’re grateful that they’re staying with us to offer excellence for years to come. I’m looking forward to sharing a pint with our supporters when the season starts again in just a few short weeks.â€
Paul Davies, Chief Executive Officer for Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company, commented: “We are delighted to continue our successful partnership with Leicestershire County Cricket Club as their exclusive drinks supplier.
"Working together for over a decade, we have developed a tremendously strong relationship with the Club, and we are excited to provide our support, service and unbeatable brands to help Leicestershire CCC deliver more amazing experiences for fans over the next three years.
“On behalf of CMBC, we all wish Claude, Paul and the entire squad the best of luck on the field this year “ as well as to the dedicated Foxes fans supporting them along the way.â€
