Donation Memberships initiative for the 2026 season

Leicestershire CCC Continues  it’s 2026 Donation Memberships Initiative to Support Local Communities

Leicestershire County Cricket Club is proud to continue its Donation Memberships initiative for the 2026 season, inviting local businesses and corporate partners to help make cricket more accessible to individuals and groups across Leicestershire.

Following the success of last year’s campaign, the initiative returns with the hope to gift memberships directly to charities, children’s homes, retirement homes, community groups, and those who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience cricket at Uptonsteel Grace Road.

Through the scheme, organisations can purchase 2026 memberships that will be donated on their behalf to communities of their choosing. And for every 2026 Membership donated, Leicestershire CCC will match it with an additional membership, doubling the positive impact on those in need.

Leicestershire County Cricket Club’s Head of Commercial, Charlie Bannister said:

“This initiative allows businesses to make a huge difference in the lives of people across Leicestershire. A donated membership is more than just access to cricket it’s an invitation to be part of a community. We are proud to work with our partners to open the gates of our Club to those who benefit most”

Businesses wishing to participate will receive recognition for their support and will be kept updated on the community groups receiving the memberships they’ve contributed to.
