Durant Cricket To Sponsor Oakham 'Festival of Cricket'

Leicestershire CCC is proud to announce Durant Cricket as the official event partner for this week’s ‘Festival of Cricket’ at Oakham School.

The festival will take place in conjunction with Leicestershire’s LV= Insurance County Championship fixture with Worcestershire CCC (19-22 July), marking the return of first-class cricket to Oakham after a 16-year hiatus.

As well as first-class cricket, the event will aim to bring together Leicestershire and Rutland’s communities to enjoy a carnival atmosphere alongside a wide range of have-a-go cricketing activities, led by LCCC’s Community Team.

Durant Cricket have been a long-serving partner with LCCC, with the Oakham-based business elevating the Foxes’ training facilities in recent years.

The specialist cricket equipment company installed a bespoke netting system in the Mike Turner Indoor Cricket Centre last winter, while they previously produced an artificial surface in the Club’s famed outdoor nets training facility.
