Fireworks Extravaganza All You Need to Know

Fireworks Extravaganza is back at Leicestershire County Cricket Club!

Friday 3rd November, Uptonsteel County Ground, Grace Road, LE2 8EB

Entertainment:

Award-winning Komodo Fireworks will be creating an extravagant show, to wow and amaze.

The fun does not stop there either, the evening will also include a family-friendly fun fair suitable for all ages, plus a variety of bars and food stalls around the ground.

There will also be free indoor cricket activities inside the Mike Turner Indoor Cricket Centre for kids to enjoy.

Timings:

·        Gates open “ 5.00pm

·        Fairground opens “ 5.00pm

·        Fireworks start “ 7:30pm

·        Ground closes “ 9.30pm

Ground Entry:

We’ve streamlined our ticketing and entry system for 2023. The following gates will be open for entry:

·       Curzon Road, LE2 8EB (to purchase on-the-door & for collecting tickets ONLY)

·       Milligan Road, LE2 8FD (for ticket holders ONLY)

Car Parking

Please note there will be no on-site car parking for the event, and parking restrictions on the roads surrounding the ground will be in force.

The car park at Saffron Lane Athletics Stadium (LE2 7NQ) is available to book in advance and is a short walk away from the ground. If there are places left on the night, be aware that payment onsite is cashless.

Spaces are limited so booking early to secure a space is strongly recommended.

Please note: Leicestershire County Cricket Club politely reminds our visitors that the ground is in a residential area, so please respect our neighbours when leaving your vehicle. The Club is carefully monitoring the traffic flow around the ground and would request that you avoid leaving your car in neighbouring streets wherever possible.

Viewing the Fireworks:

Spectators can view the fireworks display from our available seating stands and standing viewing area on the cricket field. There will be signage showing the no access areas for safety regarding the fireworks.

Accessible Venue:

The Uptonsteel County Ground is an accessible venue and we have an allocated accessible section for the comfort of our guests. Please read our access statement (but note that arrangements differ slightly due to the layout of the ground for the display).

Baby Changing Units/Toilets:

The Uptonsteel County Ground has baby changing units and toilets on the ground floor and first floor in the Mike Turner Cricket Centre.

Toilets, including disabled toilets, are located inside and the Mike Turner Cricket Centre. Will be additional toilets located near the main reception.

Meeting Point:

Our Ticket Office / Club Shop is a designated meeting point for lost children and parents/carers. Our Safeguarding Officer will be based here if you have any issues.

Safety:

Please be advised that sparklers are not permitted onsite for the safety of visitors.

Refund Policy:

All tickets are non-refundable. In the unlikely event that adverse weather conditions and/or health and safety reasons prevent the display from going ahead, then a full refund will be available (please note: we cannot process refunds on the day of the event, but we will be in contact with ticket purchasers in the following days should this occur.)
