First Bus Leicester To Provide FREE T20 & Events Travel

Leicestershire County Cricket Club can today announce First Bus Leicester as the Club’s new ‘Official Fan Travel Partner’.

The partnership will provide free day tickets for travel across the First Bus network in Leicester on home T20 matchdays, starting on 31 May against Yorkshire Vikings, and across the Club’s calendar of major non-cricketing events.

Supporters will receive a unique code in advance for each fixture or event, which can be redeemed via the First Bus iOS or Android app.

The partnership will support fans across the city and residents alike, helping to reduce matchday traffic congestion and parking constraints around Uptonsteel County Ground.

First Bus are the UK’s leading bus operator, transporting more than 2.8m passengers around the country every day. In Leicester, First Bus operates 18 bus services running regularly across the city, helping customers get to their destinations as easily as possible.

"Given our stadium’s location, to be able to partner with First Bus to make it easier for supporters to get to the Uptonsteel County Ground brings huge positives for both the Club and surrounding areas.
