Foxes Draw Lincolnshire or Cheshire In Inaugural Women's County Cup

Leicestershire Women will host Lincolnshire or Cheshire in round two of the inaugural Vitality T20 Women’s County Cup following the draw announcement on Wednesday morning.
The Foxes will enter the knockout competition in the second stage on Saturday, 10 May, as they bid to claim the first piece of domestic silverware on offer in 2025.
In a groundbreaking year for Women’s cricket, 37 teams from across the three tiers of the restructured game will compete for the cup, with Tier 1 teams entering at round three.
Should they progress, Leicestershire will face one of Shropshire, Norfolk, Northamptonshire or Worcestershire in the third round on Saturday, 17 May.
The competition will take place across May, utilising Bank Holidays at the beginning and end of the month, with the semi-finals and final will be played as a three-match Finals Day at The Cooper Associate County Ground, Taunton, on Monday 26 May.
Fixtures for the Vitality Blast Men’s competition, Vitality Blast Women’s competition and Vitality Blast Women’s League 2 will be unveiled on Thursday morning at 10am.
