'From Foes To Friends' | Matt Elliott & Mark Crossley To Appear As Special Guests At Christmas Roast

Kick off the festive season in style, as football legends Matt Elliott and Mark Crossley come together at Uptonsteel County Ground to revisit their distinguished careers.

Titled ‘From Foes to Friends’, the event promises a unique and entertaining insight into the careers of two players who once stood on opposite sides of one of football’s fiercest local rivalries.

A two-time League Cup winner with Leicester City, Elliott became one of the Foxes’ most revered stars following a nine-year stint on Filbert Way, while fan-favourite Mark Crossley appeared over 300 times for Nottingham Forest between 1989 and 2000.

The duo will revisit their most memorable matches, including their fiery East Midlands battles, as well as share never-before-told stories from two of the most lively football changing rooms of the ‘90s.

Hosted by Talksport’s Geoff Peters, the succulent two-course lunch will be held in Uptonsteel County Ground’s Charles Palmer Suite on Friday, 6 December.

Tickets are priced at £70 per person, or £650 for a table of 10. To book your place or request more information, please email events@leicestershireccc.co.uk.
