Leicestershire's runaway triumph in Division Two of the Rothesay County Championship was timed appropriately because this is the 50th anniversary of the most successful season in the Club's history.
From Grace Road to Glory, written by club member Tim Murray looks back on the events of 1975. Subsequent articles in the series will be from a collection of interviews Murray conducted for two Chesterfield Cricket Club booklets - Queen's Park Life - published in 2023 and 2025.
With the permission of the Chesterfield Club, we shall be reproducing interviews Murray did with Leicestershire personalities such as Jonathan Agnew, Jack Birkenshaw, Russell Cobb, Nick Cook, Ray Julian and Darren Maddy.
