Girls Pathway Inviting Nominations For Open Observation

Leicestershire CCC is now inviting nominations for promising young female players for open observation into our pathway system for the 2026 season.

Next year’s pathway structure will begin from Under-13 level, running up to an Under-18 age group.

There will also be an Early Engagement Programme starting in December, which will run for Under-10, Under-11, and Under-12s, with further details to be confirmed in due course.

Observation & Selection Process:

We aim to hold open observation sessions in September so players can showcase their skills at the end of the season:

•             U16s & U18s “ Selection for skill set sessions before Christmas, then weekly squad sessions after Christmas.

•             U13s & U14s “ Selection for pre-Christmas training (Phase 1), followed by further selection for post-Christmas training (Phase 2).
