Leicestershire will travel to Wales for their 2025 season opener, beginning the newly sponsored Rothesay County Championship away at Glamorgan on Friday, 4 April.
Alfonso Thomas’ side will then get their home campaign underway against East Midlands counterparts Derbyshire at Uptonsteel County Ground (11 April), before consecutive away trips to Lancashire (18 April) and Gloucestershire (25 April) round off the opening month.
Foxes fans can look forward to another Lord’s visit in mid-May with Leicestershire facing Middlesex (16 May), while a home clash against Lancashire (23 May) ends seven rounds of Championship action before the Vitality Blast begins.
Leicestershire return to four-day action in June with a duo of home contests against Glamorgan (22 June) and Middlesex (29 June), with July trips to Derbyshire (22 July) and Kent (29 July) preceding the start of the Metro Bank One Day Cup.
Three first-class clashes in September conclude the Foxes’ promotion push. Gloucestershire (8 September) and Kent (15 September) will both pay a visit to Grace Road before the season ends at Northamptonshire on 24 September.
ONE DAY CUP:
For the third time in four years, the Foxes will kick off their One Day Cup campaign away at Surrey. Next summer’s iteration will see a return to Guildford (6 August), where Nick Welch’s 100 helped Leicestershire to an opening round win in 2022.
A trip to Bristol follows, as the Foxes face Gloucestershire (10 August), before the popular annual outground visit to Kibworth sees Alfonso Thomas’ side lock horns with East Midlands rivals Notts Outlaws (13 August).
Away days to Utilita Bowl and Sophia Gardens are also on the cards, with fixtures against Hampshire (15 August) and Glamorgan (26 August) set to test the 2023 champions’ credentials.
Sunday home clashes against Essex (17 August) and Worcestershire (24 August) form part of a busy week at Uptonsteel County Ground, with Derbyshire Falcons (20 August) also making the trip to Aylestone during the business end of the group stage.

Featuring in League 2 of the newly-formed competition, the Foxes will then welcome Worcestershire Rapids (27 April), before making the trip to Canterbury to face Kent (3 May).
A visit to Yorkshire (15 May) ends the opening block of fixtures prior to August’s resumption, where Becki Brooker’s side face further road trips to Glamorgan (2 August) and Sussex Sharks (9 August).
The nine-game group stage ends with home fixtures against Middlesex (16 August) and Gloucestershire (August 30), divided by a trip across the East Midlands to Derbyshire on Bank Holiday Monday (25 August).
Each county is scheduled to play the other nine sides once during the group stage. The top four counties will then progress to the semi-finals (6 September) before the two victorious teams compete for the inaugural trophy at New Road on Sunday, 14 September.
