Josh Hull has added another illustrious honour to his collection after receiving his Gold Fox cap on Friday.
The Academy graduate was presented with his county cap by Club President, Jack Birkenshaw, in the company of his teammates and family ahead of the first day of Leicestershire’s County Championship clash with Northamptonshire at Uptonsteel County Ground.
Hull has enjoyed a meteoric rise in recent seasons, culminating in the 20-year-old making his England Test debut against Sri Lanka last September.
The 6ft 7†fast bowler debuted for Leicestershire in 2023, taking four wickets at Headingley, before ending the campaign by bowling a nerveless final over to help the Foxes lift the Metro Bank One Day Cup.
In total, Hull - who made his return from injury during the win away at Gloucestershire last week - has taken 55 wickets for the Club across formats.
He joins Rehan Ahmed, Peter Handscomb, Lewis Hill, Rishi Patel and Chris Wright as current Gold Foxes in the Leicestershire squad.
