Ian Holland Appointed Interim Leicestershire Captain

Ian Holland has been appointed Leicestershire captain until the end of the 2025 season.
The all-rounder will deputise for Club captain Peter Handscomb, who has flown home to Melbourne ahead of the start of his domestic summer with Victoria later this month.
Arriving on a permanent basis from Hampshire last November, Holland has been a leading light for the Foxes this term, claiming 31 wickets at just 17.32 and scoring 426 runs at 32.76 to propel Leicestershire to the verge of promotion.
The 34-year-old will lead the side for three Rothesay County Championship fixtures, starting with the visit of Gloucestershire on Monday (8 September).
