Kibworth To Host Surrey One Day Cup Clash

Leicestershire CCC will return to Kibworth Cricket Club again this summer as part of the defence of their Metro Bank One Day Cup crown.
After a successful maiden trip last year, Fleckney Road has been confirmed as the host venue for the Foxes’ 50-over clash with Surrey in August (6 August).
Leicestershire played their inaugural First Team fixture at Kibworth’s idyllic home in 2023, with Sol Budinger’s blistering maiden hundred firing Alfonso Thomas’ side to a two-wicket victory over Essex.
Outground fixtures have become a huge hit in recent seasons, with the Foxes visiting Guildford, Radlett, and Beckenham across the previous two summers, as well as holding home fixtures at Oakham and Kibworth last summer.
In other fixture news, Uptonsteel County Ground has now been confirmed as the host venue for June’s County Championship contest with Middlesex. (30 June).
