Leicestershire CCC Confirms Board Appointments - March 2023

Following Wednesday’s AGM, Leicestershire County Cricket Club can today confirm the following appointments to the Board of Directors.
Jack Birkenshaw MBE has been re-elected as Club President for a further two-year term, following the expiry of his current two-year term.
Steve Kind has been re-elected as a Director, once again taking the role of providing leadership and support to the Club’s Cash Pillar. Steve has been a member at LCCC since 1975 before joining the Club’s Board in 2018.
John Thorpe, who first became a Member at Leicestershire in 1972, has been elected as a Director after serving a previous tenure on the LCCC board until 2021.
John Lee, a previous LCCC Board Member, withdrew his application as a result of information becoming available at the 11th hour. He intends to give clarity within the next few weeks.
Russell Spiers has decided to retire from the Organisation Director role, while Ruth Lake has replaced Louise Seymour on the Board of Directors as the appointed Council Director.
