Leicestershire CCC Renews Partnership with Her Game Too to Champion Gender Equality in Cricket

Leicestershire County Cricket Club is proud to announce the renewal of its partnership with Her Game Too for the 2025 season, reinforcing its commitment to promoting gender equality and inclusivity within the game of cricket.

Following a successful collaboration in 2024, the renewed partnership will see a range of initiatives rolled out across the season to raise awareness, educate fans, and foster a more welcoming environment for women and girls at the Uptonsteel County Ground and beyond.

Her Game Too, a campaign launched to tackle sexism in sport, continues to gain momentum across the cricketing landscape. Working closely with Paige Caunce, Head of Her Game Too Cricket, Leicestershire CCC is determined to be a driving force for positive change within the game.

John Williams, Commercial Director at Leicestershire CCC, said: “We’re delighted to be continuing our work with Her Game Too in 2025. As a club, we’re committed to making cricket a game that’s open and accessible to everyone. This partnership plays a key role in helping us deliver that vision - both on and off the field - and we’re excited to build on the positive foundations we laid last season.”

Paige Caunce, Head of Her Game Too Cricket, said: "Her Game Too Cricket are absolutely delighted that Leicestershire CCC are renewing their partnership with Her Game Too this year. As we have entered an exciting new era for county cricket and new opportunities for women and girls across all levels of the game, we are looking forward to continuing our work with the Foxes and for this summer's dedicated fixtures."

Throughout the 2025 season, Leicestershire CCC will host a number of Her Game Too-dedicated fixtures, aimed at celebrating and promoting the involvement of women and girls in cricket. These matchdays will include themed activities, awareness messaging, and opportunities to engage with the campaign both on and off the field. Full details of the dedicated fixtures can be found in the image below.

Leicestershire CCC invites supporters, members, and the wider community to stand behind the message: cricket is a game for everyone - regardless of gender.
