Leicestershire County Cricket Club Announces New Partnership with Nuffield Health

Leicestershire County Cricket Club is delighted to announce a new partnership with Nuffield Health, ahead of the 2026 season.

The agreement will see Nuffield Health become an Official Partner of Leicestershire County Cricket Club, strengthening the Club’s ongoing commitment to elite performance and player wellbeing. The partnership unites two organisations with a shared ambition: to promote high-performance environments, support professional athletes, and enhance standards of physical preparation across the Club.

As part of the partnership, Nuffield Health will provide gym memberships for members of the Club’s first-team squad, supporting players’ strength, conditioning, rehabilitation, and year-round physical performance. This valuable backing ensures players have access to industry-leading equipment and training environments, helping them stay at peak fitness throughout a demanding professional cricket season.

The collaboration will also enable enhanced performance-led storytelling, offering supporters deeper insight into the players’ training routines, recovery processes, and overall approach to physical excellence.

Charlie Bannister, Head of Commercial at Leicestershire County Cricket Club, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Nuffield Health as an Official Partner. Their expertise and commitment to improving physical wellbeing align perfectly with the values of our Club. This partnership strengthens our first-team environment and provides exciting opportunities to produce high-quality performance-focused content. We look forward to working closely with Nuffield Health to support our players throughout the year.”

Alessandra Ussher, Customer Experience Manager at Nuffield Health, said: “We’re proud to be partnering with Leicestershire County Cricket Club and supporting their players’ training, fitness, and overall wellbeing. Our work with the Club will help ensure their athletes have the facilities and expertise needed to perform at their best throughout the season.”

This partnership reflects the Club’s continued investment in performance excellence and strong regional collaboration as it looks ahead to the 2026 season and beyond. Both organisations are committed to building a meaningful, impactful relationship that supports the first-team environment and enhances overall player development.
