FONS’ THOUGHTS:
“We are all excited to get game time in, the guys are champing at the bit to get going.
“Leeds/Bradford will be a good test. They are going to come here and want to do well against us, but it’s the perfect opportunity for our lads to set their stall out. There’s competition for places, some places we’re not sure of, so it’s up to them to stake their claim and play their way into our eleven.
“I’ve been very impressed with how the guys have gone about their business across the winter. There’s been some great progress made both fitness wise and in terms of developing techniques with bat and ball, so we’re all excited to get out on the grass and put those skills into practice.â€
