Meet the new and re-elected members of our Board of Directors at Leicestershire County Cricket Club

As we look ahead to an exciting year for Leicestershire County Cricket Club, we’re proud to introduce the talented individuals who have joined or have been re-elected to our Board of Directors - bringing with them a diverse range of expertise, passion, and community commitment.

Nicola AdamsNominated Director
Managing Director of leading marketing agency CWA, Nicola brings strategic brand experience and a clear vision for community engagement and sustainability as the agency approaches its 60th year.

Omar ChaudhryNominated Director
A Partner at Bain & Company, Omar has led over 100 high-value strategy and private equity projects. With academic credentials from Oxford and INSEAD, he also champions cricket and philanthropy through Ambleside CC and Akhuwat.

Chandila FernandoNominated Director
With over 20 years of leadership in finance, governance, and community development, Chandila plays a pivotal role in making cricket more inclusive. He serves as Trustee of the L&R Cricket Foundation and Chair of the East Midlands Taverners.

Geoffrey Page-MorrisNominated Director
A corporate leader with nearly four decades of experience, Geoffrey has held top roles at Sytner Group and CitNOW Group, driving growth and building dynamic team cultures.

John ThorpeElected Director
Chair of the Club since 2023 and a lifelong supporter of Leicestershire cricket, John is also the Group CEO of Thorpe Interior Group and brings long-term dedication and business acumen to his role.

Mark SimpsonElected Director
A retired industry-based chartered accountant, Mark led several high-performing businesses and was instrumental in the Watches of Switzerland PLC listing. He’s a proud member of LCCC and a passionate lifelong cricketer.

Tom CampbellFoundation Director
Chief Executive of E-ACT and a Leicestershire resident for 25 years, Tom has built a career in education and sport. He works to ensure cricket is accessible to young people across all communities.

We are incredibly grateful for their time, expertise, and dedication. Together, this Board will help steer the future of Leicestershire CCC both on and off the field.
